The tech giant released the Surface Pro 4 in October 2015. So October 2016 appeared like the most possible launch date for a new model that is the SP 5. Therefore, it is expected that the Surface Pro 5 will be launched this year.
According to reports, the next Windows 10 update will not come out till the Spring of 2017 that led to several rumors that the software company will hold back the Surface hardware till then.
